Granny Horror Game Play Online

Granny is a series of horror games where you have to run away from an insane old lady sneaking around her house and searching for objects that can help you get out. The house is locked and your primary target is the key to the front door. It’s hidden somewhere here, but to get it, you’ll first need to open a great number of other doors using various tools for that. And of course, you have to beware of Granny who will be lurking nearby!

Horror fans are tired of maniacs that are too obvious and cliche. Buff fellows with chainsaws and clown killers are heading into the oblivion. Now people want something subtler – a kind of an antagonist you would never suspect of being a merciless killer. Even better if there is some kind of a poignant story behind all this that can, if not justify then at least explain why the maniac at hand ended up like that. And Granny fits all these criteria. 

The original game doesn’t get into a lot of details. You just find yourself in a room upstairs, with the door locked and a note on the table telling you to get out in five days. During the whole game, you have to make your way around the house very carefully trying not to alert Granny to your presence, as you explore all the rooms that are in the building and pick up different items that may – or may not – come in handy in the future. 

Don’t get caught by Granny!

Granny is always hanging close. She listens out to all the noises and runs to them with a speed that seems unreal especially if you choose the hardcore difficulty level. (Here the lights will also get dimmer and there will be more locks on doors, so it’s recommended to play on it only after you get some practice on easier ones). Every time Granny sneaks up on you and hits you with her bate, you come to your senses upstairs again and have to repeat the whole way from scratch. So you’d better avoid it for as long as possible!

In later chapters of Granny, players also got a chance to glimpse into the antagonist’s past and find out what made her so embittered and cruel. As it turns out, her whole family died under tragic circumstances, and her very first victim was the merchant that sold a plague-infected toy to her granddaughter – a lethal gift that turned Granny into the kind of monster we have to play against now.
